4 It-girls on Their Favorite Piece!

Whether it’s a couture piece straight off the runway or a dependable basic, we all have that one item we can’t live without. And by living we mean getting dressed. We asked four of fashion’s most stylish ladies to share their favorite garment.

Ilona Hamer (Stylist)

“My Chanel 2.55 because it kind of gets me through every outfit and situation. I use it so much I should probably take it easy, but the size, texture and chain work to make anything casual feel more interesting and anything that’s too dressy feel more low key and cool because of the creases in the leather and how beat up it has become. Definitely over used and the hardest working piece I own"

Elinor Nystedt ( ‎Head of Creative Studio/Brand & Marketing at Weekday)

”I use my cropped men Adidas pants, that I cut my self all the time! I wear them day and night for everything like sports, work and party. It’s the perfect styling piece to layer up with and they are funny in this length! It gives them a nice silhouette, makes them more interesting and a bit more feminine with heels. Mixing sports with more dressed up pieces creates something dynamic in the way I dress that I like right now.”

Annina Mislin (Stylist)

”I wear my cropped vintage 517 Levi’s the most. The high rise and slight boot cut is flattering and they go with just about everything. For a more casual look I’ll wear them with a white tee and Repetto's and for a dressed up look, a silk top and a pair of Manolo heels.”

Celine Agaard (Fashion journalist and founder of www.envelope.no)

”I have a few things I wear all the time, and that includes a ribbon sweater with long sleeves from Swedish designer Carin Wester and a denim skirt from by the Norwegian designers of Mardou & Dean Oslo. I love when I find basics with an edge, in a fabric and shape like this. This sweater goes with almost everything, and the denim skirt has been a favorite since I first got to borrow the showpiece for New York Fashion Week last season. Now it’s in the SS16 collection. I love everything denim, and the chain detail of this statement skirt.”
