Karl Lagerfeld let almost everyone sit front row for his FW16 show and he left us longing for strings of pearls again.

WHY WE LOVE IT  After several seasons of over-the-top productions (airport, shoppng mall, bistro…) this fall’s show went back to the roots of Chanel. There’s a slightly ’80s vibe in the collection that made us nostalgic – in a good way.

TYPICAL LOOKS Most of the skirts are knee-length or longer – a grown up look that is very stylish. And necklaces of pearls are back as a classic accessory.

HIGHLIGHTS We love that even Chanel is doing puffers. Adorable lace dresses. The laced boots are really cool!

TRENDS TO WATCH The outdoorsy styles, the romantic garments with a lot of lace layers and, of course, the shiny skirts.
